Know how the story was made.
Readers should be able to see who created a story, what supports it, and what changed after publication.
Sources and evidence
We link to primary documents when available. Facts, attributed claims, estimates, and interpretation must remain distinguishable. Source material is checked before publication. An organization’s announcement is treated as its claim, not independent proof.
Clear content labels
Every story carries a label that says what it is: a brief that summarizes a verified development, a reported story based on information we gathered, an analysis that interprets evidence, an explainer that provides background, a data piece that describes a sourced dataset or tracker, an op-ed that presents an attributed argument, or sponsored content that is paid material, visibly separated from independent coverage.
AI assistance
AI may support research organization, drafting, editing, and production. It does not replace source verification or the accountable human editor. Material assistance is disclosed on the article. Unreviewed feeds and machine-generated drafts cannot publish automatically.
Corrections and updates
Send a correction request with the article URL, the passage at issue, and supporting evidence to mac@qualitycreativenc.com. We review the request, correct substantiated errors, and describe material corrections on the article with a date. Substantive updates are distinguished from minor copy edits.
Ownership, sponsorship, and conflicts
Quality Creative Consulting, LLC owns NC AI News. The editor’s consulting relationships and other relevant interests must be disclosed when they bear on coverage. Sponsors cannot buy control over independent editorial decisions. Contributor conflicts must be disclosed before publication.
Rights and accountability
We do not republish full third-party articles or use imagery without appropriate rights. Stories involving legal, medical, financial, election, public-safety, or reputational claims require additional scrutiny.
